Our debit card pays cash back on your purchases, which means you earn money by simply changing the way you pay for your purchases.  Instead of writing checks, use your debit card.  Whether you are at the supermarket, the dry cleaner, the pizza place, or the pet store, you can use your debit card and earn cash back for doing so.

Cash Back:  Accounts are credited quarterly for 1% of purchases made the previous quarter on all MasterCard authorized transactions (signature transactions only).   Excludes Point-Of-Sale (POS) and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) transactions.

Debit or Credit?

The merchant is simply asking how you would like the transaction processed.  No matter how you respond, when using your debit card, the purchase will be deducted from your checking account.  Even if you say “credit”, it will not get billed to a credit card.

What is the difference?

• Debit – the transaction is run through the ATM network and you must use a personal identification number (PIN). 
• Credit – the transaction is processed through the MasterCard network.

If you want your purchases to be eligible for the Cash Back program be sure to indicate “Credit”.
